Descrição
'10 tips to get out of the micros' is aimed at players who can beat NL2-NL5, but struggle at NL10-NL25. This series will show you how to exploit these stakes, and also what strategies will work at these levels, but will get punished at the midstakes. The first video in the series is Steal More. It teaches us how often we should be stealing at these levels, and using mathematical analysis busts a lot of myths about stealing at the micros.

Question at minute 30!
--> that might be right on normal ringgame tables, but if i play on zoom table, iam paying the blinds over time.
So if i hold T3o against a nit in the BB, should i wait 6 times all player folding to, which maybe happened 1 of 6 times. (so i will pay the BB 1-2 Hands earlier - by missing other hands in more lucrative positions for waiting to anybody folding their hands *zzZZzzZzZ*
--->that might be not correct on Zoom -> right?

Ima go steal some blinds now. xD

What do you (the coach and you guys) think about the optimal open sizes at NL10 and NL25. I've been told to raise 3bb from every position, and sligthly over 2bb from the BTN and the SB, so I raise 2,3 BTN and SB. Is it better to just stick to 3bb from the SB? Maybe would be wiser to min the BTN and maybe raise something like 2,3 from the CO?

I'm not sure I understand your question, in my understanding on Zoom games the player posting the BB is the one that has played more hands without posting it, so how can play slower affect that?

Hi Shev,
I'm not sure I agree with you 100%, "bluff more" is a very generic advice and in my experience Micro Stakes players actually bluff with a decent frequency, they just pick the wrong spots and hands to do it, maybe "bluff better" would be more appropriate :) . But I can agree 100% with you on the river, no one is bluffing river.
@12
Hmm, I'm not very familiar with rake on all sites, but I think on Stars the rake is not so high that you have to do that kind of adjustment. And if you make it, it's a smaller one, not a 10% range difference.
@It's not that much relevant IMO. I would say 3bbs from every position and 2-2.25 from BU. But I could be wrong and raising 2.5 from SB could be best, I don't know. CO we can definitely go 2.5bbs, specially if we are trying hard to really exploit BU.
@17
Hopefully next month.

6max, although you can make a transposition for FR, for sure.

Is this applicable to SnGs in any extent? I'd think we could subtract some risk premium and still keep the ranges relatively loose.
#37
@36 Hi vahan,
I really don't know how to answer that, i suppose it might to some extent, but not sure. At least it makes sense in an early stage of the SNG.

In my opinion you needs a decent hand to steal in the lower limit. Because there are lot of players will call you to show down.
